Energy Cost Savings Program (ECSP)
ECSP can reduce company’s gas 35% electricity delivery bills by 45%. This program lasts for 12 years and phases out after 8 years. Application must be submitted before your lease is signed. Business Incentive Rate
The Business Incentive Rate (BIR) can save you an additional 25-30% off your electricity delivery charges. To qualify for the program you must consume a minimum amount of 10 Kilowatts of electricity per month. You must also sign an agreement to increase employment by 10% over three years with the New York City Economic Development Corporation. New York City Energy $mart Communities provides access to many programs to help you save energy. These programs provide information, technical resources and financial incentives to help you make your business more energy efficient.
