ITAC Virtual Incubator Program (VIP) Orientation
ITAC VIP Orientation for technology firms and entrepreneurs. Through it, you will learn how your company can benefit from working with us, our approach to commercialization, and what government funding is available to help develop your products. What happens at VIP Orientation? You will:

FastTrac® Master Class
FastTrac® Master Class is an intensive 11-week program for graduates of other FastTrac® programs which provides high-level assistance to CEOs who want to move their firms well beyond startup. Taught by financial, business and industry experts, this series of classes will provide a forum in which to discuss and develop strategies to address critical issues that they may be facing. It will enable them to strengthen their enterprise, pursue the right market opportunities, re-examine customer needs, build a stronger management team, discover the importance of protecting intellectual property, form strategic partnerships and gain access to resources who can assist with capital formation. Companies must be approved to attend the FastTrac® Master Class.
ITAC has been a certified provider of the Marion Ewing Kauffman Foundation’s FastTrac® entrepreneurship training programs in New York City for 10 years. Our programs are customized to include access to a host of integrated services. Typically, classes combine small group presentations with prominent guest speakers, one-on-one coaching and peer learning to guide entrepreneurs to produce business plans and presentations that incorporate expert strategies and contain the critical information that investors require. By interacting with angel investors, venture capitalists, and business experts, companies learn to:

Technology Translation
ITAC works closely with research centers at universities throughout the city and state to match our clients with top researchers in their field. These research partnerships increase the competitive advantages of new products, and facilitate early-stage R&D funding applications. SBIR/STTR Consulting
ITAC is one of three organizations in New York State funded to help companies to compete aggressively to win federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) research dollars. ITAC’s Technology Group coaches qualified companies in SBIR/STTR partnerships, strategy, proposal creation, application budget structure, and Phase 1 project management to encourage further awards.
JumpStart
The JumpStart program of the Cornell Center for Materials Research (CCMR) helps small New York businesses to develop ongoing collaborations with university research centers. JumpStart companies can be awarded a one-semester university-industry project and up to $5,000 in matching state funds. JumpStart applications are accepted in June and October.
University R&D Partnering
As New York City’s Regional Technology Development Center (RTDC), ITAC works closely with the State’s Centers for Advanced Technology (CATs) and related research centers. ITAC specialists can help you to find world-class research partners for projects and grant applications, and can assist with university-industry project management and NYSTAR Technology Transfer Incentive Program (TTIP) applications to fund promising research commercialization projects. University partners are also able to perform technology validation for companies requiring proof of concept or FMEA.
