New York State Consolidated Funding Application
$1 billion in state resources is now available through Empire State Development's Consolidated Funding Application (CFA), which will streamline the application process for economic development projects.
The CFA makes it easier to apply for and receive funding as it allows applicants access to multiple funding sources from dozens of existing programs, all in one place.
In July, Governor Cuomo tasked ten newly formed Regional Economic Development Councils with transforming New York's operating model for economic development. From that, the Regional Economic Development Councils developed the CFA to determine where to award funding.
The local Regional Economic Development Council reviews each submitted CFA. Please find more information on the Regional Economic Development Councils and the CFA, including application materials, at: http://nyworks.ny.gov. Applications must be submitted online by 4:00 PM on October 31, 2011.
