At the same awards breakfast, David Haber, President of D. W. Haber and Son, Inc. an ITAC client, received the Department of Commerce Export Achievement Award which recognizes small and medium-sized enterprises that have successfully entered and/or expanded in the international marketplace.
In his acceptance speech, Mr. Haber acknowledged ITAC's role in partnership with the Department of Commerce Harlem Export Assistance Center in helping him to successfully enter into foreign markets. I am greatly appreciative of all the help I received from ITAC over the years and continue to use them as a valuable resource as we grow our business. I am very impressed with the immediate results we have gotten since our ExportTech seminar, in jump starting our international sales and especially with the quality of sales agents the Department of Commerce found for us in Hong Kong. We could not have done this on our own. We are now using them for developing other areas as well.
D.W. Haber, in its fourth generation of servicing the hotel and banquet industry, began in 1902 and has mastered the art of designing and manufacturing hollowware that that remains in service, backed by a 100-year warranty on structural integrity and on all plating against peeling and blistering.
